Road trip: home

well, I miss home, as previously said.

So I though a bit on it and I’ll make a virtual road trip from Coimbra (close to where I am)  to Miranda do Douro.

Let us start at Coimbra, for now. :)
  

There’s the Mondego river, there’s the University of Coimbra founded in 1290 and definitively moved to the city in 1537, there’s Fado, there’s the roman villa of Conímbriga…
On a side note, I live just a few miles from Buçaco, with the stunning Mata do Buçaco and Palace as shown (it has that fairy tale look and feeling to it, really):
